Tottenham Hotspur Planning Bid for Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a bid for Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus in the summer transfer window, according to reports. Former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag has described him as “very active and dynamic” on an interview in 2020.
The 22-year-old joined Ajax in 2020. However, He has struggled with injuries during both his season at the Amsterdam-based side. For two years at Ajax, the midfielder has only made 43 appearances for the club, scoring six goals and four assists.

Kudus’ 2022-23 season got off to a good start as he scored in the Dutch Super Cup final versus PSV in a 5-3 defeat. But according to reports, he could still be interested in a move to the Premier League. And Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on the Ghanaian international over a possible transfer.
Tottenham have had a brilliant transfer window so far as Conte looks to re-build his squad ahead of the club’s return to Champions League action. They have already brought in six players this summer, but the Italian tactician remains on the lookout for more signings.
Reports claimed Tottenham have been keeping a close eye on Kudus over the past six months and are hoping to capitalise on his lack of game-time at Ajax by offering him a way out. Considering that Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Winks all expected to leave, Kudus could replace the midfield trio in the squad.
It remains to be seen if Tottenham’s apparent interest turns into a potential offer later this month.
