Richarlison May be the Perfect Understudy for Harry Kane

Social

Harry Kane is a very good football player. He’s the England captain, a world-class striker and one of the Premier League’s greatest players. But with the huge workload for club and national team, injuries are always inevitable. As a result, he sometimes gets out of the game due to injuries and also feels physically and mentally exhausted from injuries. The club have been trying to find someone to replace Harry Kane, given the lack of competition in the frontcourt and Harry Kane’s physical condition.

So, over the past few years, many second-tier forwards have tried and failed to fill his spot. All in all, they are excellent but still not up to the standard. Son Heung-min seems to be the only player who can take that responsibility, and his pairing with Harry Kane has certainly produced a lot of good results.

As mentioned above, it will not be easy to follow Harry Kane’s path, but newcomer Richarlison will be the latest to try. The 25-year-old Brazil striker joined Tottenham Hotspur for a near club-record signing fee, becoming the fourth summer signing. So far, Tottenham Hotspur has some very capable players, and the club’s combat effectiveness continues to strengthen.

Why Richarlison can Succeed?

Richarlison, who is a replacement for striker Harry Kane, is likely to start on the right-wing and act as a screen for Golden Boot co-winner Son Heung-min on the left. But if Kane is unavailable for some reason, Richarlison will almost certainly be the first to replace him.
○ Richarlison has finally sealed his £60million move to Tottenham Hotspur
○ The 25-year-old has become Spurs’ fourth signing in their summer squad rebuild
○ Spurs will pay £50m, with a further £10m in add-ons for the forward
○ Richarlison is the latest player to act as understudy to star man Harry Kane

First, Richarlison has Premier League experience. Not only is he slender but muscular, physically strong enough to take the hard knocks, and he has five years of top-flight experience. Without even thinking about it, this is a huge advantage.
Second, he moved to the Premier League at the age of 20. He later moved to Everton for £35m because of his mature, dynamic performances. During his time at Everton, he played mostly on the left-wing, scoring 53 goals in 152 appearances. He’s fast, skilled, and can even take penalties. If Kane or Son Heung-min is out, he is a natural choice.
I believe he will have a great performance and look forward to his success at White Hart Lane.
